Fashion Categories & Token Values

Description: High-end, luxury, or couture items with significant resale value. These are investment or statement pieces.
Examples: Chanel, Prada, Damson Madder, Camilla and Marc etc
Tokens per item: 5 tokens

Description: Designer garments from small or independent brands with quality craftsmanship. Items are niche or have ethical production value.
Examples: Aje, Sir the Label, Alpha60, Viktoria & Woods
Tokens per item: 4 tokens

Description: Trend-driven and well-crafted pieces from premium high street brands. Think elevated basics, workwear, and stylish seasonal items.
Examples: COS, Zara, Witchery, Country Road, Oroton
Tokens per item: 3 tokens

Description: Vintage and unique pieces are highly valued. These items can offer charm and individuality, with tokens adjusted based on rarity or quality. Special items (e.g., rare designer vintage) could even be considered 5+ Tokens.
Examples: 80s band tees, vintage coats, retro dresses
Tokens per item: 3 or 4 tokens, depending on uniqueness and condition

Description: These are affordable, fast-fashion pieces or wardrobe basics. Items in great condition and trending may earn 2 tokens, while others are worth 1.
Examples: H&M, Glassons, Cotton On, ASOS
Tokens per item: 1 or 2 tokens

Bonus Tokens
If an item is in like-new condition or has tags attached, it may be bumped up a token tier.
Multi-piece outfits
Bundling matching sets (e.g., two-piece suits) earns extra tokens.
Adjustments
Hosts can make calls on token value if something falls between categories or has special worth in agreement with the item owner :)

Found something you absolutely LOVE, but have run out of tokens? Bring it up to the team on the day to be assessed and you can then "buy" additional tokens to take home that special piece.
